Egoism

I get patients with various ailments, and when I suggest that they change their lifestyle, as this is the only way to cure them faster, they tell me that they can’t do it, even if they are minor things ….

For example, for patients who come with osteo-articular problems (kyphosis, scoliosis, scoliosis, lordodes, intervertebral impingement, etc) I suggest that they should exercise as much as possible, because most of them have a static job and the rest of the time (outside work) is spent driving or sitting at home. When I say exercise, I don’t necessarily mean getting a gym membership, but doing 15-20 min a day, in the morning, some gym exercises (classical gymnastics with light head, arms, torso, bending, etc…)

Or my suggestions are in the area of correct nutrition, here emphasizing a nutritional schedule of 3 meals a day, but at a fixed time, and depending on the pathology or blood group of each one, we also adapt the types of food that are indicated or not…

But… very many of the patients say that it is impossible for them to organize their lives, citing various reasons, the most common being lack of time. Time that is taken up with work…, the work they do to offer care and support to their loved ones…..
